Community Employment is a scheme for people looking to get back into the work force with training opportunities available.

Once you take up a position on Community Employment you will be taken off the live register and can stay on Community Employment for at least three years.

To be eligible for a position on Community Employment you MUST BE IN RECEIPT OF A SOCIAL WELFARE PAYMENT FOR A YEAR OR MORE OR SIGNING FOR CREDITS.
