Sad news of two former members of St. Kevin’s Football Club who have passed away over the past few days.

Frank McCausland originally from Larkhill Road was the uncle of current board member and the clubs’ child protection officer Ger Losty.

Frank played for the club in the 1960/70’s and managed teams in the club alongside Eamon Hughes (RIP).

 

Peter Keating who passed away suddenly yesterday was a fine player winning an FAI Junior cup medal in the 1993 with Kinvara Boys who ironically defeated St. Kevin’s in the final.

He later managed many teams in SKFC over the years as well as Sandyhill Shangan, Ballymun United and Tolka Rovers but he always mentioned that he would like to return here some day.
