UNDER 13 PREMIER WIN LEAGUE TWO YEARS IN SUCCESSION…. (6)
Our Under 13 premier team are latest, and the 6th, SKFC team to win their League following a 3-1 win today away to Rathcoole FC.
League champions for the second year in succession, having won last year at under 12, the squad has had a memorable season with this league win as well as reaching the final of both the SFAI Under 13 National Cup and the DDSL Liam Brady Cup. The best team over a season wins the league and so theses lads have proved that over the past two seasons.
A goal down today at half time in a game that they only needed a point to ensure the title they came storming back in the second half with goals from Brody Coyle (2) and Max Glowgoski.
Well done to all the players who performed strongly all season from start to finish and to the management team of Joe Quinn – yet another major title for Joe – Paul O’Brien and Louis Cassidy.
Two interesting features of this win is that it the first time in the history of the club that a brother and sister have won league medals in the one season – Brody and Halle Coyle (Under 15 girls) and secondly the achievement of Max Glowgoski who has scored 63 goals this season.

Our Under 16 premier team are latest, and the 4th, SKFC team to win their League following a 1-0 win tonight away to St. Josephs AFC.
Derin Jonmark scored a goal worthy of winning any league with a strike from outside the box and so put themselves in an unassailable position at the
top of the League.
It is a great achievement for this group of players most of whom are collecting a third premier league medal on the trot having won the DDSL Premier league at under 14, 15 and now under 16.
They showed great character over the past few weeks in their league games following their defeat 0-1 to tonight’s opponents in the SFAI Under 16 National cup final.
Congratulations to the management team of Greg Victory, Ciaran Burke, Carl O’Reilly and Logan O’Connell and all of their squad.

A bright spot over the weekend was the first league title of the season for the club with our 13 Sunday 5 division team managed by Chris O’Neill and Jason Mc Mahon winning their league that their team went through with just one defeat all season.
Congratulations to the management and players. Hopefully there will be more to come over the coming weeks.
